Padmaavat managed to sneak into the top ten worldwide openings of all time as it set an all time record in Overseas becoming the biggest opening weekend of all time. The India position of the film was 14th. It is the only non Khan film in the top ten while in the top fifteen there are two non Khan films Padmaavat and Golmaal Again

The interesting thing is that if we give a value to the territories when it was not released the worldwide weekend would be bigger than Tiger Zinda Hai at 195 crore. But for this to happen it would have needed huge luck as the controversy to create the hype would have to be there which did happen and then a clean release which did not happen.
